Need help getting a part number

Actually- simplest thing to do is pop the part out and look for a part number on it.

Yeah I don't have the part or I would do that. I swapped my console for the seat and I am trying to find this part number so I can source it and pop it in place in the lower dash.

You did not take the part number off the old part because there isn't one. What is this supposed part number???

I have 47+ years of Ford parts experience, so I know what I'm speaking about.

No. 1, the word ridiculous is not needed in conversation. No need to disrespect another here.

What the OP most likely is referring to is he found the I.D. NO. on the part, gave it to the PARTS DUDE, and was able to be converted to a SERVICE PARTS NUMBER though the CDP.

look at the last picture in this recent post - shows a number on the part. That is what I am referring to. It is a searchable part number

It has been answered.

He gives the part ENGINEERING I.D. NO to the FORD PARTS DUDE and hopefully his computer will spit out a SERVICE PART NUMBER.

Actually, it was answered in POST #6. Quite well.
