Clutch
I have a 2000 f-250 4x4 with a zf5 tranny and a v8 my problem is my clutch pedal sits higher than the break pedal like it’s not in it’s normal position the clutch still works as it should but I have to pick up my leg to push the clutch in I was told it was a plastic clip but I’m not sure I’ve tried googling it and looking it up on YouTube but no luck thanks in advance 😁

Had the same problem with my 2000 after the dealer did some work, only the clutch only engaged just before the pedal hit the floor. Took it back and they improved it, but never got it to the original position. Just got used to the new location after time. I do not remember the original reason I took it in for work. See what your dealer can suggest, but preferably a dealer that deals with bigger trucks as most of the mechanics in the dealers today probably don’t know what a manual transmission or clutch is. There are plastic bushing that wear and can cause the pedal to hang up. There is a post somewhere where the owner made brass bushings. Maybe post or search in the tranny forum.
