Angry Windshield Washer Dead

Hi Everyone,

I have an 03 Excursion, 7.3 and have a non-working windshield washer. I pulled the washer and checked the motor, it works and no power is getting to it when activated from the turn signal switch.
I have done the following to try and diagnose it:
Replaced the washer pump. $20
Replaced the windshield wiper motor (read there's a relay built inside of it). $85
Replaced the turn signal switch. $59
Checked all of the relays under the hood and inside the cabin (fuse boxes) including the one hidden behind the dash next to the turn signal relay). $21 (for new relays to swap).
Checked and pulled all of the fuses supposedly used in the washer and wipers (all good). I've swapped the relays that are the same around and still only nothing.

I used a multi-meter to check the power to the washer motor and it gets nothing at the plug. I ran test wires to the motor and it works (when you change polarity it works to the back windshield too).
I hear the relays click, in the motor up front and also in the rear wipers when i depress the switch.
I am at my wits end trying to figure this out and I'm ready to let the stealership take a look but know it will cost a bunch of money to diagnose. I've already spent almost $200 and at least 8 hours of removing/installing and broken plastic pieces off my wire shroud under the hood. I'm really ticked off about damaging my ride.

PLEASE!!!! Has anyone had this problem before and solved it?

I will try any and all suggestions!!! Thanks in advance for advice!!!

If the motor works and your turn signal/wiper control switch works and you shot the parts cannon at everything else, then it has to be in the wiring. You can run continuity tests on your wiring to find the break/short. You just have to find the wiring diagram and trace the wires from column to motor for testing. Are there any other issues happening at the same time? I pulled some diagrams from AllData, maybe they can help.

Thanks for the diagrams! It looks like I’m going to spend my weekend trying to trace it down. I just hate wasting so much time on it. I’ll get the wifey to assist with holding down the switch for me.

I had hoped someone knew exactly what it was from experience. I’ll post up the solution if I find it! Or just get spray bottle and put washer fluid in it. Ha ha ha.
