??? Looks like there is about 3.5" of metal behind the front tire on the fender, before you get to the door. And a fairly short front overhang that *does* have to meet crash requirements. I think the wide angle lens used to take the photo of the 4 door visually expands the front end. Look at the side of the 2-door photo and the front end looks pretty short. (Rear end on the 2 door looks weird-short tho.)

How much sheet metal is there in front or in back of the front tire diameter? And that tire also has to steer and deflect. The rear end of the 2 door looks truncated and stupid but the front end is certainly not excessively long to fit an engine, front suspension, and required crush zones. Remember this is not a transverse engine vehicle...and remember that the driver's left leg has to fit behind the wheel well. They don't build these just for left amputees.
stopped by the jeep dealer again today drooling. heres what i know for sure. the only reason your buying a bronco over the big daddy gladiator rubicon is because you simply cant afford the jeep. and they are pricey at 60k+ msrp. even if your the biggest ford fan boi, your having second thoughts for a long time after dropping the cash on that bronco

So, what kind of a response were you hoping to get from a post like this? Just asking because if I were in the market for a vehicle such as this / these, I'd likely go after the Ford simply for better anticipated reliability. We al know that the current Wrangler is closer to it's roots than the Bronco will be.
I look at anything and everything made by FCA and it's affiliates and ALL I see is poor build quality and inferior materials, but, exceptionally innovative. I'll die on this hill and there's nothing that anyone can say that will change my mind.
So a cartoon picture of a 120" wheelbase transverse engine Flex (minivan replacement) with gigantic tires suits you better than a Bronco that nobody has really seen yet? This is pretty funny. Same as the 2004 Escape-based show car. Real vehicles are not the same as show cars or photoshopped pictures. Fashion statements rarely make for functional vehicles.
Have you ever seen a photo of a first gen Ford Bronco with stock sized wheels and tires?
