What are the handle things on the front fenders??? You can see it on the white 2-door as well as the pic above this post. I am not crazy about the garden edging flares. The rest looks really good, those will take some getting used to. Will likely look better with some colors or if they come painted to match etc. They just look a little afterthought to me.
I’ll have to see it in person as at this point I like it but I’m not blown away by it. The new Wrangler has been on my radar for a bit now, might’ve already bought one were it not for waiting on the Bronco.
OK guys, just was told those are actual photos of the real deal. Ford has come unglued about it, and are doing an investigation to find out who took the photos. Yes the thingies on the hood are tie downs for canoes boats whatever.
It also has a four piece roof, two panels over the two front seats, a panel midway, and a fourth panel over the cargo area.
The 4 door has a 116" wheelbase, and IIRC the 2 door is 109".
Another thing, there appears to be thoughts of an actual 3.5EB engine for a special model, sorta like a Raptor style version. Common sense tells me, the Ranger could be fitted out as well. Not sure if 3.5HO, but crap, even a regular 3.5 like in the F150 would be a lot.
Enjoy your dreams, maybe I bought a new truck too soon.
The wheelbase looks like it has to be way more than 7" shorter than the 4 door version... The rear half of the 2-door almost looks so short as to be cartoonish, but that will give great over-center clearance.
