That sure looks nice. When you guys go that dark, do you have to roll your windows down backing up at night? Just wondering how it works looking at your mirrors. thanks

The cops really don’t mess with tint issues in Fl if you are driving a decent looking car.
OTOH, if your car has spinners for wheels, loud bass and it screams I’m up to no good then yea you’ll have issues lol.
I stuck with the "legal limit" in TN - XPel Prime XR 35% on all glass & sunroof. I departed from the "legal limit" on the front glass and went with 80%.
On my 2017 F250 Lariat Crew Cab, I had 5% done on all of the side and rear windows, 50% on the full windshield with a 5% strip across the top of the windshield. I have the medical exemption in Florida so I am not worried about getting a ticket for it. In South Florida, it gets hot out and this helps as well. The place I go to, Senor Stereo on Bird Road, does great work and uses 3M film. I highly recommend them as I have used them for the past several cars that I have owned.
I know it will vary based on brand and type, but I originally only had the front door glass done with CTX25 (28%). I knew it would be a little lighter than the factory rears, which it was from outside. But from inside looking out, it actually looked darker than the factory rears. That bothered me and is why I decided to have the 50% put on the rears. If I went with a lighter tint up front, like a 35%, I think it would have looked fine from inside out, without film on the rears. If I were to go darker, like a 20%, I think something darker than a 50% would be needed to make it look close, from inside out.
