Rear window tint question

Rear window tint question
Is the factory tint a laminate like after market tint or is it 'in' the glass? The previous owner has a sticker on the inside of the window and I'd like to know before I break out the razor blade. It's too cold to just try and peel it off anf the old hair drier didn't work either. Thanks.
