Leveling Kits

It seems im going to have to level the truck to get the wheels and tires i want. Ive looked st 2 different kits. First is the Ready Lift with the spacers and various other adapters. The other kit has the taller springs and shocks. Is there any benifit to the new springs and shocks, or just go with the ready lift?

Thanks in advance.

I almost never respond to a new level thread (there should be info in dozens of others if you take the time to search and read.

That said you sound reluctant to level and are only doing it for wheels and tires? I have 37x12.5 on OEM wheels and a level wouldn’t have changed the rub location and amount (sway bars, radius arms).

Ive searched quite a bit and read quite a bit. Not enough there to sway me either way. Just looking to fit 35x12.5 or 11.5 on a 20x10 -18mm offest wheel on my 17 F250 without any issues.

Just went through the same thing. Liked the way the truck was from factory just don’t like the raked look. I ended up going with the ready lift kit from amazon. I also didn’t want to use any extensions so I added the fox shocks and Carli extended brake lines as well. Threw in the Carli caster bushings but didn’t like the way they made the axle off centered in the housing so, I put the factory slugs back in. Had an alignment yesterday and cater was at round 1.7. Less than desired but, the truck drives great. Going to drive it for a bit and decided if I need to get more caster out of it. If so, I’m going to go with the OUO drop brackets instead of the bushings. Hope this helps

If you have the heavy duty snow plow springs in the front I would not do the spring lift. However if you either dont care about that or you dont know then the spring lift will ride a bit smoother then the blocks.

I put the 2.5 ready lift on mine, it has the snow plow prep and I did not want to lose that. The ride is pretty close to stock so it does not bother me at all.

I just completed my level a few weeks ago. This was in my opinion the best bang for the buck.

1 Ready lift spacer kit w/bracket
2 OUO radius arm drop brackets
3 Fox shocks
4 Kelderman dual SS

caster bushings didn’t push your axle to one side,it was from not using a drop bracket.

it rolled the axles to the back of the axle tubes. Factory bushings the axles are centered in the tubes. If the truck starts to drive funny, I’m definitely going with the drop brackets

Camburg level kit

I went with the Camburg leveling kit, 18” Method wheels and 35” toyo RT’s. Love the look so far, but hoping the front settles a bit. Also, I replaced the factory rear lift blocks with 2016 4wd blocks, dropping the rear about 1.5”.

What year is your truck and how much lift did you achieve with the Camburg springs? Also, how are the springs compared to factory?

Lift is 2.5” up front, but will likely settle a bit. Truck is a 2017.

So far, the ride is great, a bit firmer than before, but the old shocks were in bad shape.

How far will those wheels stick out past the stock wheels? I’m thinking of that exact size and hope they don’t stick out too much.

Thats not how it works either. It rolls the knuckles back, but the axles stay centered in the housing. If the axles where truly moved off center in relation to the housing, you would have seal issues.

I went with the ReadyLift. It's a very complete kit and keeps the factory ride.
Here's a pic of leveled vs stock...
