feedback solenoid
1984 ranger 2.3l 1bbl carb.
on the side of the carb, beside the choke pulldown diaphram.
bolted to the carb, with electrical plug. 1 bbl carb
i think it is called a feedback solenoid,,,what does it do>

I believe it lets the computer adjust the idle speed for when the a/c or such loads the engine to keep it idleing without dying.
I am not 100% sure , but I think that's what it is.
It may also control the air/fuel mixture.
