Headlight Bulbs

My stock lights suck. They're dim & yellow and am looking for an upgrade. Not looking into doing any headlight swaps or kits just looking for a little better, brighter bulb with a whiter light that I can just pop right in. Any suggestions?

Before you do anything, take the time to aim them correctly. You should. Notice a big improvement. Mine were too low. After doing so, I liked them much better.

If you still don’t like them after getting them aimed, then look at Headlight Revolution and F150 LEDs for some plug and play replacement LED bulbs that work well in stock F150 housings.

Ok, thanks. Is that a pretty simple task or is the a lot involved? Never done anything like that with headlights

very simple task; manual will show you how

i adjusted (finally) the aim of my 2011 F350 lights a few years ago; were up a tad high (all stock suspension). Much better after the adjustment.

I don’t think they aim them at the factory. There have been quite a few posts a out them being aimed too high or too low on brand new trucks.

It’s simple, but a process. The adjustment hole is on top of the light. Put a #2 Phillips screw driver in it then turn to adjust up or down. You will need to face your truck to a garage door or flat surface to adjust them. I set mine just low enough to where I didn’t get high beams flashed at me. Took about 3 tries to get there. They were much easier to live with after that.

If the aiming doesn’t help, check out PIAA.
