2002 E450 V10 on a 31' Winnebago motorhome. 96,000 miles. Maintenance has always been done and until yesterday it has always run perfect.
Hoping someone can help me out with this. I've searched everything I thought might apply but am coming up empty. Yesterday my motorhome threw a 0174 code. I removed the doghouse to have a look around. Other than the mouse nest on top of the engine, seemed to look okay with one exception. This port that looks like a hose should be on it. I don't see any hose in there flopping around or anything else that would indication where the other side of this might attach. When I put my finger over the port, it smooths out the idle very nicely. There is a significant vacuum pull on it.
Should this be capped / plugged? Did my resident mouse make a meal of the cap and it fell off?
Any suggestions and advice? Thank you in advance.

Find the PCV valve and see if the hose from it to the base of the throttle body is intact---if not that might be your missing hose.
Not sure if a mouse would/could eat that hose so completely its missing altogether as your images show. To my eye it looks as though something hasn't been connected to the stub in a long time.
