I am experiencing a weird issue with the Bluetooth connection between my phone and the truck. My truck is a 17 lariat. Also this started about a week ago.... What is happening is I am experiencing skipping or surging when listening to music via Bluetooth. I do not use android auto, just the standard connection. I do not have any issues with other Bluetooth devices, just the truck. All my phone calls seem fine it is just the music.
I've read threads about music skipping due to phones trying to connect to weak wifi signals as they are passing them. My phone only hooks up to wifi at home and work, otherwise it is on data. My music seems to skip only when the truck is not moving/moving slowly... so as I approach a stop light, or driving slowly in a parking lot, the skipping starts, probably within a 0-10 mph threshold. Once i get to moving again the music is clear.
The skipping and surging reminds me of a CD player if it was knocked or tapped, the music skips or surges ahead a few seconds....
Is this a known issue, or has anyone else experienced this?
