Cd player issue?
Alright so i got my truck which is a 2001 ford ranger from a used car dealer that was taken away from some guy. He had taken his cd player and screw my truck over since he knew it was going to be taken away. I replaced the cd player myself since im pretty handy when it comes to electrical work. and replaced the truck battery but for some reason my cd player keeps going in this problem of going blank with light on so it won't turn on then i got to take it back out unplug from harness and hook it back in after a few secs then it will work for a several days or weeks for that matter. then back what is cause this problem? need a new harness? all my wires are correctly match and show power going in right with my power meter.
I figure i should see if i can fix this problem before cutting and redoing it to install my CB radio in. Im already tired of unhooking and it shouldn't do that.
