Just for chits -n- giggles...what is the earliest cab I could put on an '84 F250 6.9idi and a T19 without making wholesale changes to the mounts etc? The present cab is non electrical...ie, everything is manual. Thx for the replies!
Any truck cab from 1980 thru 1995 for 150's and 1980 thru 1998 for f250/f350 will bolt on the frame. Biggest change was around 1983/84 when they went to hydraulic clutch. But that is just a few extra holes. The A/C trucks all years also have some extra holes the non-A/C trucks don't have.
70's won't fit without a lot of modifications. Most people with 70's 4x4 trucks like to stick with 4x4 70's frames because they do not like the twin traction beam 4x4 frontends that are in them from 1980-up. Of course the 1980-up 2wd trucks have the twin i beam like the 70's trucks did.
