But I want to remove the single cab and long bed and put on a 1997 f250 crew cab does anyone know if it will fit and if it does how long would the flat deck behind it be ?
And would I have to use the bin from the old swap or new cab
it would work but you will need to fab up your rear cab mounts , THE FLAT DECK as in bed ? I think the crew cab is around 2.5' longer than a regular cab !
So how much space will I have I don't know the over all length of the crew cab from the fire wall to the rear wall of the cab also how would I fab up some cab mounts this will be my first build I want it done right
90 dash is mechanical speedometer, 97 is electronic.
the wiring harness will be completly different between the two cabs.
90 also uses a long steering column, 97 uses a short column.
I think the only issue would be the steering column I'm doing an engine swap so the dash will need to be replaced anyways and I'm looking at a 86-97 crew cab I know different model years maybe I should steer twords older ? If possible what do u suggest ?
