RS5000 vs RS5000X
I need some new shocks on my 03 250. Still has original Rancho's with 135K miles.
I was going to get the RS5000 shocks, but the RS5000X isn't that much more. Is it worth it?
Truck is all stock. I don't go offroad. I drive it a few miles to work, and mainly tow my 7000# camper.

The RS7000 and Bilstein shocks seem much more pricey than the RS5000's. That's why I was look at them The stock FX4 rancho shocks I don't think are too bad, just getting a bit bouncy.

Not gonna lie, I've had different brand and style shocks on my 2004 F350 since buying it new. Recently installed basic SkyJacker Hydro shocks and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! Soft ride for a super duty that is, truck stays planted over rough roads, railroad tracks etc. Feels great with a trailer , haven't hauled anything yet so I cant say what that's like. Do know I'll keep the basic hydro shocks for now on, and with a lifetime warranty I'll most likely never have to buy another shock again
