changing cab top

i was wondering if it is possible and how hard it is to change the top of a cab on my truck. i know that there is a little break in the post near the bottom of the windshield and then the seam along the back. Can i cut it at this, or how is best???

I would try to leave the A pillar in place and try cutting just underneath the drip rail, then along the seams in the top back.

I had to cut half of my cab due to rust in the drip rail. I used a zaw saw and cut through the center of the cab ( front to back) and then went down about three inches below the drip rail and cut through there and on the back corner went down about eight inches and cut. If you do it you need to weld in a support to hold the cab up befor you cut anything. Mine is welded back in and looks good. ...good luck
