Hey Tas. I've seen numerous guys do it in their build threads. I suggest you use the search engine at the top of this page. Check out how they did it!
I'd take more than I need. Extra is good... shortage is bad. Very bad.
When grafting, insert a slug into the A-pillars and plug weld. Leave a lil gap btwn the old and new pillars, weld the seam, and also plug weld the new, upper pillar. It'll take some finagling cuz it's not like the pillars will drop straight in because the A-pillars get a touch narrower at the top than the bottom. You'll need to find the sweet spot.
