Just a little input here from a old chapter leader 14 years ago today we had our very first chapter meet , my family met several people that we are still friends with to this day . It was a little cool at Burns Park and the ladies kept huddling around the grill to stay warm.
Happy anniversary Arkansas! I just noticed this thread or I would have replied sooner, been on the forums all day. Fourteen years, got any idea how many Chapter Leaders there were in that time?
No I have not been in contact with Jim in a long time. I speak to Scott every week ,Joe maybe once a month ,he super busy talk to Jeff once in awhile .
You should tag the original members in this thread. Might get some of them to drop in.
Dave, Jim, Myself and two guys that haven't been on here in years were the 5 original members that founded this chapter. I've been on this board for 19+ plus years, I was a moderator of 5 different forums on this site for 14 of those years. Including this one.
I'm pretty burned out at this point. I don't have any forums that I'm a regular in. I check in here maybe 3-4 times a year the last couple. Or if I need help with a project. I just don't have the inclination to spend my limited amount of free time on message boards anymore. I found your PM "requiring" me to check in quite amusing. I'm not, nor will I be a regular.
That being said... All of my best friends I've met largely because of this chapter, and I'm all about face time. So if y'all end up putting a meet together I'd certainly be interested in attending. I love meeting new peeps and getting the opportunity to check out peoples trucks. I just don't have time to play on the internet.
I've been looking forward to you dropping in cookie. That message was intended to be tongue in cheek, I'll try a different font on the next one. I would have responded sooner but a friend was having electrical issues and in the middle of that the next town over got hit with a tornado. I'm home now and have more time to respond. I feel like I had a question or two for you but can't remember now what they were. If I remember what they are I'll write them down so I can ask you when you drop back in next quarter.

I spend so little time on the internet just playing anymore...... I'll happily answer anything I can, but it might be best to shoot me an email.
