Hello!!! New to the v10 world. I have a 2001 excursion with a 124,000 miles on it I bought it last weekend. It had two codes p0352,p0353 so I did a tune up all coils and plugs all ford parts . It has not thrown any codes but at idle it runs really rough But when I get it over 2500 rpm or so it runs really smooth. I have cleaned the throttlebody and the mass airflow sensor any ideas what else I should look at?

Check your wiring harness and connectors/plugs. You could spray all the connectors/plugs with something like Deoxit. If not that, you should check all your recirc/vacuum lines along with PCV. Really, you should check all the hoses and lines. These old lines can develop cracks that could contribute to your problems. Others have suggested the EGR as something to look at. You can parts cannon it or check every system one by one. A live data tool would allow you to pinpoint what is causing the rough idle, maybe ForScan could help you. It is odd that it wouldn't throw a code for the rough idle.

Go back through it and check that each COP to harness plug is positively clipped in, its common for the retainer clips on those plugs to fail, if you find one or two that aren't clipping in you wrap a small cable tie on it until you get the replacement pigtails.
Check for vacuum leaks. Look at the PCV hose, those sometimes will crack.
Since it's an '01 with the short spark plug threads, what did you torque the new plugs to?
