New guy P0301 HELP!
Background: 2006 3V V10 125K miles
I've owned it for about 9 months and its always ran great...until now.
What I've done:
New motorcraft plugs
New Denso boots
Changed all fluids
A few weeks ago the truck started to idle rough and had an obvious miss. Codes: P0301 P0351
I changed the coil and plug (even though it was a new plug and looked good). I reset the codes and the truck ran a lot better. Code P0301 is back, truck has a noticeable miss at idle and sometimes turns over for 4-5 seconds before a "soft start"(starts and rpms come up very slowly, no roar)
I'm at a loss, I have not cleaned the MAF, IAC yet. Any help is appreciated, I've fallen in love with this truck and just want to get it squared away.
*are there any recommended code readers that will help me narrow this down? I'm using my sct tuner to read the codes but I can't see misfire counters or anything like that.**
