Hello everyone, new member here. I have a 1963 F100 with a 292 Y Block in it. Working on upgrading the brake system to front disc brakes with a vacuum power booster. Have just about everything done except connecting the vacuum line for the booster. Not sure where i can tap into for that and need some guidance. The manifold has COAE-9425-F stamped on it, and it looks like there is a plug right below the stamping that i could remove and utilize for the vacuum line. Right now it has a plug in it, and the size looks right for the adapter that i have for the booster. Can anyone tell me if this is a vacuum port i can use?
thanks! That is exactly what i needed to know. One additional question for you, do i need any kind of pipe dope or teflon tape on the threads to seal it, or just put the brass fitting in?

thanks again
The fitting is NPT same as plumbing. To ensure a tight seal, use either tape or Teflon paste. Better to be safe than sorry.
Personally, would use a liquid thread sealant for something a little cleaner, but its just preference. Loctite green or regular loctite sealant is what i use.
thanks to all. Used a liquid Teflon pipe sealant. Project is complete, brakes work great, power booster works great. No impact on engine by adding the vacuum line.
