I think you can see here where I put a JIC adapter on fuel pump outlet and use Push-Loc fittings for hose connections. (The fittings with Yellow rings. You don’t use hose clamps with these. Super CLEAN!)
Wow, very Impressive Jason. The work that some of you guys post up here is very good and clean as well. Excellent!
Hello! I apologize for resurrecting an old thread. I looked for a way to send a PM To SkySkiJason but I do not see a way to do that. Maybe I don't have enough posts on the forum. I have a 1999 F350 4x4 Crew long bed dually that I want to add the second tank to. The truck is about to get a ton of work and some of that is going to include removal of the bed, the perfect opportunity for this tank setup. Is there a way I could get a PM about this, maybe there is a way I can get this done. Thank you in advance!

You are right sir. You are unable to receive or send a PM until a post count of about 10 and a certain time has passed, which you have likely met. Although, I will tag @SkySkiJason for you so that he will be notified you are attempting to get in touch with him.
In order to "tag" someone, simply place the @ sign in front of their name and as you type it out, they will be notified you have tagged them. Good luck to you with your project!

Do you have questions about what is posted here? I can answer them here and others who search can find this thread like you did.
I think you need (10) posts to send PM’s. Maybe start a thread and tell us about your project using multiple posts in that thread?? Be sure to ‘tag’ me like Sous described. I’ll get a notification via PM. If you click on the 3 white bars in the blue FTE banner at the top of the page, you can select ‘subscribed threads’ and won’t have to scroll to find this again.
Here's a silly question...if I have the 36 gallon aft-axle tank on my cab and chassis, is there a way to also install one of the midship mounted pickup truck tanks? I know on some newer cab and chassis models this is actually a factory option but have no idea if it was back in the 7.3 era. A regular slip tank wouldn't work very well in my case.

Cab chassis frame is narrower and different shape, so a stock midship tank is not a direct fit. Driveshaft clearance is probably an issue.
Dual tanks for this era cab chassis was an option, but I’ve only seen ONE in 20yrs... Not sure if ‘replacement’ midship tanks like this are an option.
You may be able to make something like a 20gal square body Chevy tank work ($100ish new).
A custom midship aluminum tank would be sweeeeeeet. Probably get 50-60gals or more in there depending on wheelbase and 2wd/4wd. (7.48gals/cu ft if you want to do the math)
