I have a 2019 platinum and I can start my truck from the app. I have a 2017 xlt work truck and I can’t start or lock unlock. Only thing I can see is warranty date on the 2017. I think it may be the same for you.

I believe ford cancelled this product so it no longer works. A few users had it and now it doesn’t work and Ford was working on a refund or something like that.
