Same here, I have done that few times.Today wasn’t the best day (uggg what a Monday )keep the bracket for now .Still plan on getting pictures of the stuff I have in the near future! The tons of rain the past few weeks ,and today,Has caused drainage septic tank problems.Oh what a MONDAY lol
If you ask really nicely I could see if I can bolt the bracket to my truck without the pump. I have the combo bracket as well. I may have lots of down time coming up. Truck is waiting on brakes and there's very few things left for me to do to it.
Ha ha ha if you insist it would be appreciated , time on your hands can be a great thing, but so would hitting the lottery in which I rarely play thanks TR
I pull every Saginaw setup I can for SBF, BB6, and BBF.
For a 300, the v-belt saginaw bracket is it's own piece that fits with either the York or Sanden/wobble plate style AC brackets. Or, with a nut as a spacer, it fits without any AC bracket. I've pulled both style AC brackets, as well as a "home made" one for a York. All mount to the block with 4 bolts down low. One of which is shared with the Saginaw bracket, which is put on after the AC bracket.
I have a Saginaw in my 85 bronco, without AC. I am currently adding a York for OBA in the factory position with a factory bracket.
Let me know if theres anything I can do. I have a spare 300 sag bracket set, but no pulley for it. The pulley must come from the same style engine. A SBF one wont work on a 300.
Oddly, I've seen two types of Saginaw bracket for v-belt V8s. One is a big honkin ugly thing found on SBFs. The other is much smaller and better looking. I've pulled this one from both a 351w and a 460.
I pulled one from a 76 f100 with a SBF too.
300 with most of the wobble plate style AC compressor brackets and saginaw still in place.
