Anyone Use "noise dampening" Undercoating Spray in the Doors?
Or on any other part of the cab for that matter? I like the stick on products a lot, and I like LIzard Skin sound dampening spray as well. But thinking for the small job of the door interior a couple of cans of undercoating might be just the ticket.
Some of them claim noise dampening properties in bold type. I'm guessing they all do it to a point, but wondering how effective they are.
Thanks
Paul

Hah! Yeah, forgot about the smell!
Thanks for the feedback. Good to know there is a difference. I'm thinking about replacing the speakers too, but don't want to spend too much money on this truck just yet either.
Do you remember which brand you used by any chance?
Many years ago I started de-rusting and re-protecting my Bronco body and used undercoating on the frame and underside of the body. The smell was not an issue because it was outside and I never really thought much about the sound at the time, but looking back I know my Bronco was quieter than most of the others I've been in. Until just now I had assumed it was the carpet and insulation I'd added, but it must have been at least part due to the undercoating in addition to all that other stuff.
Thanks
