Hey all. I was forced to sell my Excursion awhile back, unexpected medical bills, so I've been out of the scene but always lurk. I'm now looking to get back into one. I live in Arizona and am looking at one up north and was hoping I could get some insight on "rust". I know nothing of it and would like to know how much is too much and at what stage, you can do something about it. The Excursion I'm looking at has no issues with the door jams or body, only underneath (and it doesn't seem that bad). See pics from seller. I would appreciate any guidance, this forum and all the members have such incredible insight and experience. Thanks in advance.
From those pics I only see surface rust on the exhaust and heat shield.
I don't see much, or any, on the frame or under body.
Personally I would want to see it in person or have a lot more pics... but from what you posted looks minimal at a glance and nothing to be concerned about.
