Does anyone out there know where I can purchase the proper fusible link for my glow plug controller battery to controller wires?m (My truck is a 1988 F250 7.3 IDI) I checked the constant power wires to my glow plug controller from the battery and got 0 volts. I'm pretty certain the fusible link blew when the last controller went bad and I just replaced it.
you can buy Fuse link wire from most all local Automotive parts stores... if you can be more specific to which wire failed I could lead you to a proper replacement IE an in line fuse maybe could also replace the fuse link.
I believe its the two thick yellow wires in the harness that come from the battery to the controller. They are supposed to provide constant voltage to the controller. I measured them using a multimeter and got 0 volts. I need to dig a little further, but my bet is the fusible link in it burned up and that would be the weakest link.

Sounds like you on the right track... I've seen em replaced with inline Fuses and even inline Circuit Breakers too...I've also seen em wired back in with no protection at all <<== I don't advise that route.
