Glow plug controller

Hi i have an 86 f250 6.9 and was wondering whats the easiest way with out taking the motor apart to get a broken glow plug controller out cuz it broke at the top of the threads and cant get pliers on it to get it out

You mean the actual glow plug not the controller, right? You ave 8 of them?

I by passed my controler and went to a toggle switch been about 4 years and no problems

^^ good idea .. if by chance your glo plugs do still work .. they'll burn anyways once that sucker sticks ..

they have VERY nice momentary push buttons at radio shack .. only like 2 dollars

plus you can get same style in on/off or momentary for matching buttons later if you so choose ..

i think the sqareish design of the button looks very good in my dash ..

if you so choose .. here .. with yellow connector is the terminal on the gpr to run to the momentary button to bypass the controller .. install a fuse ..

I have deleted the need for the controller on not only my 91 f350, but also a 76 240d Mercedes.


Once you go by-pass you never go back.
