Performance Tune question

I have an original H&S tuner that has been set on the 300 HP setting for years, but I use the truck as a truck with little or no towing. You just have to be mindful of when you run into a situation where you really need to step on the go pedal that IT IS going to frickin go. If it's wet or snowy you might get yourself into a little trouble. I can truthfully state that I have never used WOT or max RPM'S, I can only imagine that what that burst of short lived power would be like before it cremated itself.
