59 f600
I have purchased a 1959 f600 (old grain truck) to restore and use in my construction company as eye grabber. Anyways runs great, had a great patina that I fell in love with but has a few issues I need to work out.
I found this site while looking for information on replacement wheels to get rid of the splits that are on it currently and there were a few posts with different options so thank you on that. On to the more pressing issues I have not been able to find info on.
I am looking for information (part #s would be good) or places to go for parts since I seem to be coming up empty locally and the web.
I have a rotten flex line off master cylinder, which is letting brakes leak down.
I have a broken drivers side leaf spring.
Steering is very very sloppy, would like to do a fill rebuild, thinking tie rods, drag link etc. It has manual rack on it and I dont believe that to be culprit
Speedo cable is missing so I have nothing for reference
And I need windshield and back glass rubber which I think I have correct part on the way for but if someone has info it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

I have a broken drivers side leaf spring. Find a shop that does spring work, nothing available NOS

These trucks have a hydraulic clutch, the clutch master cylinder is adjacent to the brake master cylinder on the firewall.
The clutch master cylinder has a line that routes to the clutch slave cylinder.
Try NAPA for the steering & front end parts. The box can be rebuilt by redheadsteeringgears.com in Seattle.

I thought about the pig tail brake line but wasn't sure If that would work on single master setup.
Rear is a 2 speed by the way I have found a bunch of speedo cables but info is limited since I have no idea what ends I need since i dont have anything for comparison
Window rubber will be here Friday and i did check out link provided
Front end work is my only hang up at moment as I'll have to make my local napa dig alittle deeper. We are are a very small town and our napa is about the size of a postage stamp

They have been wonderful for me in delivering aftermarket suspension parts, especially suspension parts for larger trucks. This may not apply to you, but they do weekly deliveries so the shipping isn't a killer, at least in my area. The same guy who does deliveries also has a huge catalog with him so that he can compare parts before they are ordered. That being said, no matter where you live, I'm sure there are companies that will get you suspension parts and leaf springs for your vehicle if you look for them.
