Hello People,
I'm just curious..... over here one of the most highly regarded tyres on the market comes from the US. It's the Coopers brand. They are expensive here - but the only tyre that comes with a real warranty. I,m running the H/T version in 31x10.5x15. These have been great on and off road. There are local brands available......but many of our own fitters recommend yours.
Q. Are these unpopular over there?

I understand that Cooper makes many "private label" tires (i.e. for other sellers). They are an old and well respected mfr, but as one of the other posters said, they do not highly promote their own brand here in the States.
They did and may still do make a very good SUV tire called the Discoverer -- had a set on my old International Scout 4X4, and they gave very good service. Glad to hear they are well regarded by you chaps Down Under.

Discoverers are what I had fitted. As far as highly regarded here - these are regarded as the best available. Thanks for your thoughts, and you have a good one.
