Front bumper crash bar--how did you bend it slightly instead of removing it?

Asking for a friend. He just purchased a 2015 F-150 with the big 35 inch tires and a lift kit. The front tires are just slightly rubbing the front crash bar behind the bumper. I've learned all about it by watching various youtube videos and reading about it on another forum. I hate to just cut it off and remove it (and I quickly learned it just simply cannot be unbolted and removed). I saw on another forum where some guys have taken a porta power and bent the back side of it forward just a little bit allowing clearance for the tire (It's hollow and thin walled). Do any of you guys have any pictures or video of you bending it forward with a porta power or a bottle jack, etc.?
