Hello,
I have a 72 f100 that I am going to install some f150 seats (2014) that are power, heated and cooled with memory. I believe the heat and cool went through the radio/nav. I would like to be able to find some wiring diagram to make the heat and cooling functions work. I was told it has low med and high for heat and cool.( any ideas for switches). It has memory 1 and 2 but sounds like that needs the computer to make that work. It has the switches on the side of the seat for the power motors for the slide and tilt.
PS I would like to disconnect the air bag on the seat.
About the best you will get is the motors to work in the seat adjustment. The rest of it is controlled through the seat module and works on can bus which also requires the HVAC controller.
Actually, for heated AND cooled seats, there are no heater grids. Heating and cooling is handled through the TED (thermoelectric device). I'm looking for the info I've found on them...
Here's a link to where I found the 2014 F150 Ford Factory Service Manual: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/11-14-...manual-383379/
It's gonna answer all of your questions, but it's well over 8 THOUSAND PAGES LONG!! If I remember right, the heated and ventilated seats are in the neighborhood page 6600.
I'm next to certain that the airbag is the yellow connector(s), so just leave those disconnected = no airbag. The seat memory functions are also stored externally in the seat control module.
