My first post as I have always gotten my answers without having to ask. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find an answer to my current problem:
Recently picked up a 2004 F350 6.0 KR and I have fixed almost everything that was wrong with it except for the heated seats. I have absolutely nothing that indicates that they work. The light doesnt come on in the button, no heat, absolutely nothing. I have changed fuses and made sure there is power to the fuses.
Has anyone run across this? The only references I could find are people that had one seat quit and they always had power to the heaters but had to fix broken wires.
EDIT - Forgot to add that neither seat works so it appears to be a system problem.
Traced the wiring Yet? My thoughts go tward main connectors, as it sounds as if you have no power to the seat controls. Are they powered seats? Might they have been removed at some point and reinstalled in a hurry?
