My dealer said to only use motorcraft which I have never seen at Walmart. It’s more expensive than the blue stuff I see on shelves. I have a 2017 f350 6.7 - does it matter which brand I use?
It does not matter. DEF has to meet a laboratory specification and has a specific gravity. It has only a few components...water and cow ****, so unless the Motorcraft stuff gets their **** from superior cows, it would be chemically the same stuff.
I use the Wal-mart brand of DEF. When the gauge goes below half I add a full jug. No spills, no issues. The one time I was going to fill DEF at a truck stop, there were out. At least they had diesel!

Bulk DEF is 139 here for 55 gallon drums as of this morning. I was placing a fleet order and confirmed the 139.00 was not a fleet only price. So if anyone needs quantity call your local oil supplier. Brand was Either Vulcan or Sinopec depending on supply.
