Hey there, on my 7.3 2002 excur, I replaced my glow plugs, valve cover harness, oil cooler seals, fuel bowl, ebpv seals, turbo and pedestal seals, and few other things. Reassembled things last night and got two codes, P1000 and 0381 code along with a no start. Turning over but won’t catch. No problems starting before I did the work. Any suggestion where best to start? Thanks.

Did some research and found good description of how glow plug electrical works to fix 0381 and no start.
Based on explanation, and that my glow plug light on gauges was operating fine, I figured it must be an issue with glow plug relay. So i checked if power was moving thru the glow plug relay with key in start position, and there was no power thru the relay (the glow plug lights on gages worked fine).
I had a new relay sensor and put it in. And since my battery’s have run low, I used new battery to test my fix. Oh boy did I get a laundry list of codes come up.
Part of issue could be the passenger side battery is low which powers the glow plug relay. Several of the codes were ‘low output” Shouldn’t run lopsided battery but didn’t have another new one.
