Idling hours

Curious if anyone else has crazy idle hours on a truck. This one at work never drives more than 2 miles every 8 hours and idles the entire time once it gets cold -20 to -30 plus wind chill

yes, there are a few on here who purchased trucks that were "service" or utility or gas/oil field trucks that have a high idle hours similar to yours.

How do they hold up?
This one likes to slobber fuel out the exhaust and fill the crank case with fuel but it doesn't miss a beat even though its late on oil changes lol.

I haven't seen anyone complain about the truck they bought with high idle hours....you can do a search and see if anyone has complaints.

being in AK I often idle my truck all day, sometimes days at a time depending on what I'm doing. No issues. If truck has been deleted I wouldn't be concerned about idle others other than using them as a negotiation tool to lower the price.
