Possible Exhuast Upgrades?
Hey everyone, I was just wondering what Exhuast systems are availible are availible for the 2.9L v6 on an 87 Ford Ranger! I heard flowmaster makes some good systems, Any others? Websites? Prices? Thanks In Advance! I'm looking to get the most growl out of my V6!

well you can always start with headers and do true duals, or if it stas single, then a high flow y pipe and high flow cat then whatever muffler, dunno what sounds good on that small a v6... have you checked out motor haven?

On my old Ranger with the 2.9L V6 I had the stock manifolds, then cut off the rear cat and gutted the front one, then ran one 2 1/2" pipe to a Thrush turbo muffler then out in front of the rear tire. It sounded great for a V6. It didn't sound anything like the other little engines running around. It was quiet will driving down the highway but had a good sound when on the gas. Hope this helps.
