Camlocker for Dracula

Camlocker King Size Extra Deep and Wide.
24.5" Wide, 19" Tall including 3" low profile
lid. Fits good with a 8' bed or the occasional creature of the night needing a lift. Solid rolled bottom. No tack welds. Nice paint job no defects. Lid opens smooth doesn't "bang" up.
Don't know about the carpet yet greasy tools I can see where this is going but the bottom carpet can be removed for cleaning.

Factory carpet. $850 for King Size Extra Deep Wide.
WeatherGuard makes a good product however I dumped a 3 ton rated floor jack in my last WeatherGuard and broke the tack welds from the bottom.
My opinion you can't beat Camlockers quality. They don't have tack welded bottoms

I found them online and looked at there boxes. Nice stuff. Thanks Scagg. I wanted to find an American made box. And it seemed like Weatherguard was the best. But I started reading about the tack welds and suddenly it wasnt looking much better than the chinese garbage.
How blocked is your access to any front tie downs? I see the classix box isnt as deep but those front loops are high and on the front bulkhead. Can you get bungies onto them? Sometimes I carry bags of garbage and loose stuff. I was going to get this 4 hook bungie net Ford is selling for the F 150s. Hooks on all 4 loops and then the whole bed is under the net. Not a big deal if I can lay down and hook.
Does it come with good mounts or do you need to buy the kit with 4 nice flat aluminium blocks for mounting. Ive seen steel beds get all frigged up with J hooks. Im paranoid about the aluminium.
Thanks again Scagg

Classic depth Mike will be your friend. Ol' Drac said you don't use your front hooks so go deep. Classic gives hook access

Hey Scag, so it looks like theres a pad over your bedrail under the box. Did you add that or is there something that came with the box?
Im thinking thats the box for me if I dont flip flop back to a bed-cover before I spend any money. But Im interested in the mounting. I hate the idea of friggin up my bedrail somehow. I see the crap J hooks most of these come with and Ive seen the kits at like Advance Auto... Looking like nice fat blocks of aluminium. But Im still interested in what you did for mounting. Especially with the big capacity.
I see on their website they offer the boxes in .125" thickness too. Probly overkill. I dont want to add too much weight sitting up there. Ive seen pictures on here where some guys bed was cracked between head board and bedsides along the weld there. He had a big ole fuel transfer tank mounted though so Im thinking too much weight.

Ok Mike I spoke with Matthew at Camlocker awhile back he's like GM guy there. .125 is really heavy they build them for Forestry service, military etc. Now you can custom order this thickness but its overkill for civil use. On the the blocks....DeeZee tool box underrail mounting for aluminum beds...part # 97910, j hooks will hook onto them, no bed damage.
Pads under box....came with tool box
Now back to that dang pressure switch on my well pressure tank...hold my beer

Thanks brother. I was thinking the 1/8th would bee overkill. But a nice chunk of US durability. Maybe for a Peterbilt...
