Hey so I have a 93 f-350 I have been steadily working the kinks out of this truck as I plan to have it for many years to come, recently my cruise control stoped working, I at this time thought that it was to to a small noise I noticed after doing some work on it when I pushed down the gas but I now think it’s due to the brake sensor, I noticed it didn’t have one and the hole is blocked up, I’m not sure if it still has the harness for it but I found a loose connector, and I’m not sure if it’s for this. The pictures show the master cylinder and the wire I found
Right... Fires were started by that switch leaking ....
I installed Factory Cruise on my 93 and the MC didn't have a port for the Brake pressure switch so I just made a jumper for the connector and works fine. the switch is closed until Brake it pressed then it opens.
the brake pedal switch still kicks the Cruise off without the Brake pressure switch or you can dump it with the OFF button
I believe the colors on the connector that goes to that switch is Red/Wht and Wnt/Pink
