My 1992 f250 ext cabs cruise control just stopped working on me the other day and I am missing it on my daily drives to work. Something interesting I have found so far is that the cruise control switch on the brake master cylinder has zero wires going to it and ever since I have had the truck it has not had ay wires to it. I'm guessing it was bypassed when the previous owner took it to ford and had the engine replaced with a crate engine, is that possible? In case you are wondering it has 4x4 with the 460 and a e40d transmission
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Just to clarify that pigtail was added as part of a Ford recall. The pigtail added a fuse. Prior to the recall the cable and connector were a two wire plug-in.
