me again. my buddy's 87 6.9 4wd just blew up. not worth fixing the leaf springs are threw the bed the rust is so bad. but to the point it has a t19 transmission can i fit that on my 1989 7.3 2wd. my c6 is still good but it will be nice to do a conversion when it does fail. maybe even steal the 4wd parts.
The 4x4 T19 will not fit in your 4x2 truck without converting the trans to two wheel drive or converting your truck to four wheel drive.
It will fit as long as the OP installs the transfercase. I have seen lots of trucks that were 4x2 and people had swapped trans and transfercase just for low gear reduction ability.

I would absolutely recommend exactly this if you choose the t19 because in my opinion first gear is too damn tall. Especially for me with 33" tires and 3.55 gears outback
6.9's all had single mass flywheels, there may have been a dmf in the 87's that were offered with the 5 speeds but I know the 87 4 speeds has the same single my 85 has.
Unless the clutch looks rather new I'd replace it and have the flywheel turned too
