1. Replaced the plugs and coil packs with boots (motocraft)
After replacing these the truck ran great for about 60 miles and started missing again.
2. Replaced a coil pack harness. Replaced PVC.
3. Replaced the pvc hose into the intake.
4. Cylinder #3 previously had blown out a plug - about 3 years ago. I had put plug back in and it was fine until now. I just replaced with a dorman from the parts store.
I had previously taken to a mechanic and scanned. No codes. No dash lights.
I only run Motorcraft for mine. I also use Denso for the Coil packs.
Does your engine have the PCV elbow under the throttle body? Check it too.
Fuel Pressure check?
yes Dorman plug it's the only one you can use I believe.
Yes the elbow and I replaced it.
No fuel pressure check.
odd thing is like I said it ran perfect after replacing the coil packs for 60 to 80 miles, then started same miss. No dash lights ever.
I am back to thinking a coil pack because it was fine for about 2 hrs driving and it was smooth.
Over on YouTube, FordTechMakuloco just did a video wherein he compared authentic Ford Motorcraft parts (plugs and coils) vs fakes/counterfeits. I am surprised (although I shouldn't be) to see the extent the Chinese will go to manufacture parts and packaging to replicate that of the real stuff.
Did you buy Motorcraft parts? If so, are you SURE you didn't receive fakes? That could be the problem...

That could be the problem. I bought the Rock Auto "Motocraft" coil packs. They were in Motocraft bags. There is no motorcraft on the coil pack itself.

so I pulled number 3 coil pack and that one is the problem. It is the cylinder I repaired with the dorman. The plug boot was burned half the way up. I replaced the boot and it continued to miss. There is no blow by with the dorman insert. I took another old motorcraft coil pack and it still misses.
idle may not show leak because throttle body is close and not much air can get into cylinders. Under more throttle with less vacuum more air comes in making cylinder pressures higher. So maybe it's leaking when motor is under a load.

Here's that video----its great and well worth watching it all the way through:
I recently bought quite a few COP's through Amazon and wondered if I'd received the right stuff--turns out I did. By sheer luck I'd bought from one of the seller's Brian cites as being trustworthy.

Watching that video will show if your COP's are real or fakes.
