I have completely rebuilt the front suspension and steering of my 2002 f-250 7.3 4x4. Yet i still get popping sound when I turn my truck on and the first movement I do either turn left or right I get the popping sound (feels like it comes from the driver side). I don't know if its from my U-joint from axle shaft, steering pump, or steering wheel column. My steering wheel also squeaks when I turn. I also started to get a humming noise from 10mph -40mph. Any advice would help Thank you.

Agree that having someone down to look at it while moving would be a big help. One thing you might check on is the bushings in the spring hangers. When mine went bad it was more of a clunk than a pop, but at least one more thing to rule out.
So when you START the truck, still in PARK, you get a popping sound? Is it a 4x4, where you might have a vacuum leak? Have you checked the motor mount on that side?
