Well, I have to sadly report the death of my super start Walmart battery. Looks like me draining it in the German winter (It is really not that cold) was too much for it. I usually leave my keys in the ignition switch, cause it is in a locked garage in a secure neighborhood. (Maybe also because I am lazy lol).
A week ago I must have left the ignition switch on ACC on accident while turning it off and drained the battery. Since I do not use it a lot, I didn't notice in time to charge it back up and prevent damage. I only noticed my mistake when I went to drive the truck out of the garage and the only thing that happened was the starter solenoid going ham clicking off an on. Checked the voltage on the battery and sure enough... 10.3 Volts. 4 days of charging did nothing. So I declared it dead.
Now the question is, what would be a suitable replacment? CCA and aH wise? I might as well get a battery that is scaled to the truck properly.

Thank You
Since you are in Germany I would opt for a Varta AGM and you can never oversize a battery in terms of CCA/AH, undersize yes, oversize no. The minimum you should use in your location is 650CCA, but I personally would use the highest CCA battery I could find. This is a carbed vehicle so starting is not always a 100% on the first turnover so you want some spare capacity to wind it over a bit if needed.
While doing a little engine bay cleaning last week..I happened to notice the sticker on my red OPTIMA battery...6/11...soon to be 9 years old..So far..so good ! (351 Windsor HO)...

I ended up getting a Varta. has 830 CCA and a 95 Ah capacity. It is definitely a lot bigger than the PO put in the truck. I will have to make a new battery hold down. It feels a lot stronger than the 560 CCA the other battery had.
