Hey guys.
Anyone buy painted emblems? Trying to find a reliable place to buy from. Purchased a set on ebay but the seller didn't use any packing at all. Just stuffed two pieces of paper and the garbage from his bubble packaging. Not gonna put the seller on here because I would like to give him a chance to fix it. Emblems just rubbed against each other and scratched the crap out of each other. The packaging haha
Wow that's really sad... talk about lazy. I'm on my second round of trying to get painted emblems. First time i ordered from OutlawLEDs, after 10 weeks of back and forth, one set returned because of horrible workmanship and a bunch of lies i disputed charges and got my money back. SO definitely don't deal with OutlawLEDs, many others have had similar experiences.
Currently getting some done by Retro Customz. Kevin the owner is a real good guy, extremely knowledgeable and a lot of positive reviews online. Comes highly recommended.
Well I ordered a set from a seller a few weeks back from Joe1**********e not sure if it's the same seller but I really can't believe the way your emblems were packed. I truly have seen better packing with the cheap stuff I have bought off Ebay.

do you have to message him directly? Dont see emblems on his site
let me know how it goes. He says he ships them like that all the time lol.....I wanted to say..."you just use garbage as packaging?" But hes sending me a new pair. Hopefully they arrive ok. If not I'll get ebay involved. I also asked him to bubble wrap them this time.
I’m going to take both emblems off and the two side f350 badges and send them out. Retro customz has a lot of great reviews and charges about 65$ per item
Hey, looks properly wrapped this time! lol. Looks good! I'm still waiting on getting stuff back from Retro Customz. All my fault though as I've been sending him parts a couple times now and told him just to wait and ship it all back at once lol.
Had mine done by Retro Customz. Very high quality work and fast turn-around.
Two of the pins on the front oval snapped off on the way to them and he offered to fix them for me but I opted to replace all of them when I got the ovals back. Cut off the pins level with the base and drilled and tapped the plastic for 4mm studs. JB weld did the rest. They could be about 1/4" shorter than shown if this happens to you. Hopefully this is more secure than the plastic pins.
EDIT: After being enlightened, I take back my suggestion... I apologize for not researching the business a bit further - I just looked at the "Looks" of the product!
