Gearing! What gears ?! Help!
I’ve seen the chart... but what about the transmission your using or the motor your running? Doesn’t fit into the equation too?
Heres my setup: Engine-460,Trans-NP-435,
Tires-38.5x13.50. Stock NP-205 T-case
4.88’s or 4.56’s?
I know those 460’s like low rpm.
ALSOI have not bought tires yet.. so I can change that. Those are just the size I was planning on.

What do you use your truck for? Rock hopping? Hauling? Cruising? That will really determine what you want.

About 2600 RPM at 60 with 4.88 gears and 38.5" tires.
