I had not thought of the meter being used. I bought a higher end one I use for diagnosing A/C systems at work, I just happen to use it for everything.

couldnt figure mine out for the longest time it would drain down overnight with new batteries everything would shut off after 40 mins. but still dead in morning checked every fuse with meter hooked up couldnt loose the drain ended up bieng the rear hatch dome light switches they shut off after 40 min. but still drained batteries a bunch of lubricating oil fixed it dont make any sense but it fixed it
