Where can I pull 12v off one of the batteries? Can I connect to the secondary fuse panel under the hood? I would prefer a connection on the driver's side if possible.
I tried to connect up my Accuvolt this weekend and blew the fuse. I figured the point where I connected must have been 24v since the fuse blew on the Accuvolt. The Accuvolt needs 12v to feed directly off a battery, as close to the battery as possible.

There shouldn't be any 24 volt on your truck. The two batteries are connected in parallel.
remove the cover from the secondary fuse panel, next to the master cyl. on the rear of the box, towards the firewall there is a 6mm stud. It's 12 volt at all times and is a good sourse
